I had my right hip done on June 30, 08. Now I am going for the left next Monday. 8/11/08. I am nowhere near as nervous with this one as I know what to expect. I didn't feel that last one was too bad. I was in WAL-MART 5 days after surgery. At a meeting at work at 1 week (for an hour and a half), worked from home at 2 weeks, came back to work at 4 weeks. Now it all starts again!

But I am still going to request prayers from all my new friends on here.

Everyone here has helped me so much. I haven't posted much lately as my computer at home is not working. I am at work and wanted to shoot out a quick prayer request.

Thanks everyone!
Sandy

It's done, Sandy. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a success surgery and a speedy recovery. Best wishes to you next Monday.

Sending prayers and best wishes to you Sandy, I am looking to have my second hip done next month if possible so I will be watching you....My first was in May so I am due.
Hugs and prayers for ya.

Mine too. Wishing you all the best, Eeyore. Got it marked on my calender to pray you through the op.

Sandy,
Prayers from California. I am so glad you feel so at ease going into this one. It must be great knowing what to expect.

Thanks everyone for your prayers!

The bright side is I only have 2 hips. So after this I will be done! lol.

2 hips in 6 weeks! Go me! But at least it is almost over!

Thanks everyone!

Sandy

As Punch used to say (Punch and Judy) "That's the way to do it!"

I came home today! This surgery totally kicked my butt. I slept almost the whole time I was in hospital except when at meals and therapy. They said this one was harder because it was 2 major surgeries in 6 weeks.

Therapy was harder because I haven't finished therapy on the first one yet.

This one hurts worse too. But I am so glad it is over. I am also thankful that I have help here (my Dad and Step Mom are staying with us).

Thank you all for your prayers!

Sandy

Welcome home, Sandy! I'm so pleased you got through it all right. Now comes the hard part, eh?

Sandy, I was wondering about you earlier this afternoon. I'm glad you're home and you have lots of help. You must have a lap top because I can't imagine you would use an office chair right now. Thanks for the report. My next one is scheduled for this Monday, Aug. 18. I don't mind sleeping all the time; it's what I do best! But I hope mine doesn't hurt more than the last one.

Sandy-
Welcome back. You know the drill. My thoughts and prayers are with you on your recovery.
Gary-

Welcome home Sandy. Wishing you a speedy recovery
