New to the Hip Replacement Group

My wife is having a Conformis double hip replacement on August 27. She's so scared she doesn't really want to talk about it, so I thought I would pop-in to this forum to see if I can learn some stuff.

My op is scheduled for day after tomorrow 14th August.
I know how your wife feels I am terrified but I know it has to be done. I can't offer any help as in same position but hope it all goes well x

Of course your wife is terrified! It's only natural. If you post here and check back often, you will find an enormous amount of caring, compassionate, knowledgeable-from-personal-experience support. I'm going to tag @Mojo333 , who had bilateral hips two years ago, at just a bit younger than your wife is now. She has lived to thrive, and is one of our moderators/admins. Also one of the funniest people I know!
