Hi All,
I don't know if any one has brought this up before, so I thought I would share it with you. I am still pre-surgery, so having an office job and having to sit for long periods of time can be hard on me. Through a friend I have found a wonderful solution.
An Exercise Ball (65cm). I use one when I work on my computer at home and I have one at the office. It is SO much more comfortable than a chair! And there is probably some isometric benefit as well. Being still too long I am still stiff but a lot less so with the ball than the chair because I can roll around a bit.
Last night when I was having trouble getting just the right position to eat dinner my daughter asked if I was going to eat dinner on my ball now too? Little smart Alec!
Just thought I'd share, since I am in search of a recliner after reading all of your helpful suggestions on how to get sleep after surgery.
Best wishes,
Donna
