My left knee replacement is on hold again. No new date yet. Back on October 13 of last year, I fell while running a boot camp for friends as we worked stepping in and out of tires on my driveway. I shattered my elbow and suffered a fracture in the lower arm (Monteggia fracture). I completed 5.5 months of twice a week therapy and my dear arm doctor saw me last week. He was thrilled at my great ROM but not thrilled with the CT scan which showed the area that had bone grafts inserted has not healed... Therefore, he talked with his ortho partner - my leg doctor - and they cancelled my LTKR. I am now on six weeks of bone stimulator work and back in therapy with my dear PT who was so awesome... If I show healing in six weeks I get a knee replacement. If I don't, they may be going in and who knows what comes next... So, please take me off the May list. In the meantime, I continue to do arm work, walk, and do leg exercises and weighted leg lifts. The left knee is holding up well!

Thank you, Josephine, for editing my signature! I seem to forget that and I will work on remembering! Thank you all for your encouragement. I am happy that my right TKR from 2014 is doing so well; it's encouragement to keep the left one in the best shape I can right now so when I finally do get "the green light" I will have the left leg ready!
