Hi again! Well, I may have hit a delay in my approval from Workers Comp. I did get approval, so the surgery will happen, it's just a matter of the timing....Apparently there needs to be a hearing, which they told me about when they sent the approval paperwork--supposedly just a formality, BUT, today I received another letter saying that they have 90 days to respond to the request for a hearing (even though they are the ones requesting the hearing....). At any rate, I have a call in to my lawyer to see if the surgery has to be on hold until this hearing. What a pain, literally! All of these hoops to jump through and Workers Comp is only held responsible for 25% of my injury....Ughhhhhh.

So basically, I still don't know what is going on. I am working out as much as I can tolerate--I want to be as strong as I can going in to the surgery.

Working out is a good thing while waiting for approval! Hopefully they won't take the full 90 days.........

I know, the mental part of this is driving me crazy! I was better off when I was thinking it was going to take a year to get the approval! I have been too busy at work to try to call my lawyer to get any answers. Monday I will call him and see where we go from there. So silly that a legal formality could actually be holding up my surgery!!!
