Saw the back surgeon today. He feels at this point in time an epidural injection will give him enough reflief to continue his physical therapy and give him relief on his back. He was so happy, he thought he needed surgery again, which was out of the question. I will go and see the new P/T hopefully on Friday and let them evaluate him to see if they can get a better ROM. I hope they are honest with me, as if they are unable to, he will just go and have the MUA. Maybe, just maybe, we're getting there.

Sure hope he's turned the corner, Ouch!! You've been through enough already! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of you! Think positive!!! :)

My sil had such an injection several weeks ago and she is still very happy with the result. Hope it works for him.

Ouch,
I will be praying that hubby gets relief. You both have been through the wringer!!

Thank you for your posts. This is such encouraging news. I just hope P/T won't undo the effects of the injection. Tell me this is not a possibility!

Tell his P/T that he just BETTER be gentle with all that your hubby's been going thru! :)

Hi Ouch when I saw you posted I couldnt get here fast enough...lol...I am so happy for you both....You sooo deserve good news.....If he does get the manip. done you both will feel better . Tell him he really will feel better and it will be a lil easier on him...........Hang in there and please let us know............

Ouch, I'll be praying this does the trick so hubby can finally begin to move forward. Don't fear the manipulation if it is needed. It too can really help get the healing going again. Be sure the PT does take it easy and increase activity GRADUALLY!!!

Ouch,
I hope this provides your husband some much-deserved relief. Five years ago, I had 2 of these in my neck (last resort to try and avoid surgery.) For me, they were nothing short of a miracle. The inflammation was reduced, thus reducing the pain, thus allowing healing...I sure hope this works for your hubby!
