I decided to take a couple of more weeks before I go back to working. That experience (plus thinking about doing the other knee) put me in a funk for several days.
MyChart had some exercises for me, I think it was the prone hamstring curl that irritated my knee. Nixed that. Did resting and icing and took 2 acetaminophen. After a couple of days it's just about back to ok.
Rob and I made it up the block Tuesday to a local cafe. I got coffee and an almond croissant and we sat and watched people walking their dogs. That felt good. Going again tomorrow to have coffee with a friend I haven't seen since before the surgery.
I started listening to 9 Perfect Strangers while I am knitting a scarf.
Angus (cat) has significantly calmed down, and if I am sitting on the couch he lays on my lap again.
Boy, when people say this takes patience... Are we there yet??
