It does certainly take a concentrated effort to remember to walk correctly..heel-toe.
Old habits are hard to break.
I was quantified as a Toe Walker..
I guess my modification to take pressure off bad hips
If I'm tired and been on my feet alot...I can Still catch myself doing it. Default position I suppose.
Gait training IS helpful...so is more rest sometimes.
Still lots of healing happening as you say.
