looking for info on hip replacements for my mother

hi i was wondering if anyone had any advice or information on hip replacements my mother has recently been told she needs a double hip replacement . to say the least she is very scared and not knowing wot to expect . She is also worried about scares after as she has seen some done on tv and they were quite horrific. i was hoping for some advice that would ease her nerves abit thanks

Please encourage your mother to look into MIS hip replacement. My husband had his right hip replaced yesterday and he walked the hospital halls today without crutches, walker or a cane. He even walked up and down one flight of stairs. Tell your mom to hang in there and do her research! Good luck
