TKR right knee 2017
Hello!
I am scheduled for left knee surgery March 29th with the same surgeon that did my right knee in 2017. I had a very difficult recovery and probably why I waited so long to get the other knee done. Also Covid didn't help with pushing it ahead neither.
I am nervous, and keep having to talk myself into going forward. I am doing all I can to get into shape for it and honestly am in the worst shape of my life so not good. I have gained over 45 pounds from the last knee replacement and now have arthritis throughout my body and spinal stenosis which probably was reason for the hip, sciatica and groin pain after the last surgery.
I have not seem my surgeon, only the resident. I gathered from call with office manager that is the way now with so many surgeries needed. It makes me nervous as he has not seen the weight gain and keep wondering am I still a good candidate?
Thanks for listening, sometimes just getting it out of my head helps.
