As most of you know I had a LTKR in mid-March. Kneeling has never been
much of an issue for me post surgery since the surgeon put my scar over a previous
scar to the inside of the knee. What I have noticed that is a bit bizarre is that
my prosthetic knee is more likely to skin the kneecap than my natural knee.
I'll kneel on both knees for a while and when I get up I'll have an abrasion on my
L knee but not my right.
I'm thinking that perhaps the button of nylon they put on the inside of the patella
makes it stick out a bit more and hence is more prone to squishing the skin when
I kneel.
Nothing that I can't deal with just a bit surprising.
