Wow PR Im glad that is soooo terrific I cant believe it,......I didnt have a hip done and dont know if I could do that...lol....And you look like you did that with ease!!!!!!!!!!!Very nice.....

Hi Melissa,
No, can’t do the knee to chest thing, but then I couldn’t before the surgery. I am not very flexible – am ashamed to admit that I can’t touch my toes. Maybe you could concentrate on some stretching exercises to get your flexibility back.

PRgal, I am super super impressed. I tried that trick a few months ago and failed miserably – I got about halfway up the bench. My husband shook his head at me and effortlessly did the move – and we have high benches! Just tried it now in my office, and I can get my heel (either one) up on to a lowish chair – that is it.

I still grunt and groan a bit putting on my socks and boots in the morning (it is winter here) but I noticed this morning that there was less grunting and effort involved as I had been for a swim and had REALLY concentrated on doing the frog kick properly (Judy’s words always come to mind re swimming and her hip and flexibility).

All the best

Oh Monica.....I wouldn't worry about that at all...the most important thing is that you're no longer in pain!!! :). ..

Lack of pain is the BEST thing. And my left hip feels so strong. Lack of flexibility is the least of my worries :)

(Am now busily scrubbing bootmarks off chair, low table and a bookshelf or two in my office - look what you started Melissa!)

Monica, you gave me a good chuckle! I'm sorry! Judles is right -we all got this surgery to be pain free. The flexibility isn't the key factor :)

:lvros: ....I'm laughing so hard I can't see straight!!!!
The only visual funnier than that would be the look on my wife's face on investigating what that funny 'thud/splat' noise in the kitchen was....and finding me laying on the floor in a puddle of olive oil, with footprints on every vertical surface in the kitchen!!!:hehe::blush: Lee

PS... That's an AWESOME pic PRG!!:thmb:

I think we hafta move this into the recipe section now!!! :)
