Has your doctor talked to you about your knee? if your foot is pointing out at 2 pm and your rom is 70 and you are in constant pain, then there has to be a reason. I think you must press your physician for an answer here or plan to get a second opinion as soon as possible. You mentioned that you have a 95 rom on your first knee---what is the reason for that? Is is adhesions? or malalignment of the prosthesis? or did you have very poor rom before the surgery? Did you seek a second opinion on your first knee?
I am sure that all of this is very frustrating to you, since we have the surgery to get beyond knee pain. I recently tore a ligament in my hip and my primary doctor suggested that I take two 220mg Aleve and 1000mg of Tylenol twice a day with an extra 1000 mg of Tylenol at noon if I had pain. I found it to be quite successful and I noticed that someone else recommended it to you as well. Have you tried it? Being in constant pain inhibits healing and leads to depression.
Have you seen xrays of your prosthesis? You can just ask the hospital for them and they will give them to you on a DVD so that you can look at them at home. Josephine, our forum nurse can often help with reading xrays, so perhaps that is one thing that you could do to seek some answers about your knee.
