Lucky them. Bet you got a lot of sympathy!!!!

I've been away for a few days and returned to find so many nice messages!! I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one with a purple, stinging scar. The only other friend I have who had TKR has this tiny, thin, white scar and I have worried about mine for SOOOO long. I don't think I'm particulary vain, but I do like to wear shorts, even in the winter, because they are just more comfortable to me. I can't stand to even sleep in long pants. I do love my new knee. Right after my surgery I named it Bill Fagerbakke after an actor on a TV sitcom called Coach. Coach was always on in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. Bill played this big, strong guy who was not particularly good looking....so that's what I started calling my knee. Bill and I are going to enjoy our new life together and let people think what they may. Thanks again for the messages. So much of what I read on this site describes my experiences and I hope all of you have the happy ending I had.

Judy, I don't know about other Walmarts but the ones in North Florida have the most bizarre folks walking around you could ever be around..so if you want to stand in the store and show your ,ugh, scar off just call me so I can be there and see it too.....just sayin'.
