Had a good day it was a bit emotional as I finally received my urn necklace with my sweet friend Paula's ashes in it she was my biggest cheerleader and my strongest supporter , without her I would not have fought as hard as I did for my new hip . She was the strongest woman I have ever known and now I owe it to her to heal from this and come out of this better than ever
Glad Paula's spirit lives with you...she certainly will be proud to know you honor her love and concern for you.
So happy things are easing off, and I hope today is a Good Day!
That’s a great update & a lovely sentiment... so glad things are finally looking up for you.. x

I have just been reading your thread and could cry for you. I hope you start to mend ASAP and the pain melts away. Have a lovely restful weekend and don't overdo it.
@Fairydell thank you so much for the kind words it's been a rough couple of months , I actually have been feeling better since I stopped my physical therapy. I finally have my physcology appt on Mon , I've been waiting for almost 2 months to get in to see her I have had to just deal with the post op blues and try to live without my dearest friend . I really hope you have a wonderful weekend as well . Hope to talk to you soon
Quick question has anyone else been experiencing the feeling that when you are sitting that it feels like you're sitting on a baseball or something it's weird I always check my pockets too!!!
Yes!! Most everyone notices that.
It felt like golfball size to me, with the firmness of a tennis ball I over analyzed it, lol.
It can last for quite awhile.
Have a great Saturday!
And I thought it was in my head and that I was just imagining things. @Ryesgma i actually mentioned to my husband today that every time I sat I thought I could feel the hip and wondered if it was because I had a boney bum with even less 'padding' since the surgery!
No your not imagining this I also said the same thing to my husband as well. It's so funny that after all this time I still check my pockets when I sit thinking wth is in my pockets lol
So far so good this weekend took my wonderful patient husband to breakfast for father's day and bought him the weights he's been wanting wondering if anyone knows what kind of leg exercises I can be doing , I really want to get back in shape.
Yep, I have that too! I keep thinking I am sitting on something and then realize it's me. Anyone know how long it takes this sensation to go away???
I second hipsterkats question , how long until this baseball in my hip/butt feeling last .
