Delighted to hear that you are have a reasonable experience with your surgery but have they not discharged you with instructions as to what to do and not do in the next few weeks?
I'm theatre nurse not a ward nurse so can't be too specific here, but I believe that the usual protocols dictate that you shouldn't try to get into the bath now to do things like rolling over in bed, all of which can risk dislocation. This is for about three months, I believe.
But judging from what others have said on here, they have got on really quickly and been back to normal in a matter of weeks.
Perhaps some of those folk will post in here as they may be able to tell you more than I can.
