YO! Gang,

Another new for me today. I was able to put a pair of blue jeans on, jumped on the lawn tracker (maybe not jumped) and cut the grass. Sorry Marianne that I beat you to the jeans. I guess having to wear those horrible TEDs for a month, made my incisions tough.

God Bless,
Rick

Yay! Congratulations! i was able to wear jeans after a week or so, but only just wore them w/o bandaged up knees. ahhhh - feels good!

Rick, how many months/weeks are you post op? I'm 8 weeks as of today. Have been dying to wear my jeans but am too scared. Gartz!

Melissa,

I am seven (7) weeks from RTKR and six (6) weeks from LTKR. I really do believe that wearing the TEDs for a month toughen up my incisions.

Hee hee! The man has gone groovy!

Rick -

You stinker!!! When I read the title of your post I thought to myself - darn that Rick and there you said - I am sooo jealous - I am stuck on the wardrobe malfunction for a few more weeks - icing just doesn't make it through the jeans. I probably could have bought a larger - looser pair - and maybe I still might - just to say I did - nah- I can't do it. i am way too cool looking in my shorts going to school and PT with like 4 inches of the white powdery stuff all around! I am making a fashion statement. Shorts in winter time! its a good thing I can park fairly close to the buildings - I must confess I am back to sweats for doing the whole out in public thing - had to give in - Looked really goofy picking up some groceries in shorts as the snow was falling. Good thing is I am in better control of the swelling -

Anyway - Congrats!!! I will get there soon -! I hope!!!! I may have to think about a different style or cut - I must admit I wore them "close" fitting - maybe time to grow up and act more my age - Oh well - for now its shorts as a work wear uniform and sweats out in the real world!

I am soooooo jealous - my eyes have turned from blue to green!!!

Keep up the great work - But .... hahahah - I have no worries about the lawn any more this year - can't see it to cut it! Too much white stuff on it!
