Whoo hoo! Down to the wire. Let me tell you, in the last 15 minutes I didn't think about my knee for one second! Love those Jayhawks! #1 in the nation!!

Missed it--- but congrats! Sounds like a terrific game and I am really glad KU won.
I went to the pool to do my PT workout then to a session at my tanning place. ALMOST like a day at the beach at Playa del Carmen!

Skeet....was that a game and a half or WHAT!!! Sad to tell you but I had given up. I am so thrilled for those boys! Roy Williams had on a Jayhawks shirt and we are thinking the bad feelings finally may be over with some of the Kansas fans. Hope so! I could hear you screaming all the way over here in Kansas City.

This was definitely a good day for me. We went out to dinner with a big group of friends. I drove for the first time in almost 6 weeks. We went over to one couple's house and I watched the first half there. Then I drove us home. I did okay, but I'm pretty tired after all of that plus this game. Tired, but happy!!!

How 'bout those Hawks!!!!

I was going crazy cuz we were at a ministry leaders meeting and when we got out KU was down by 6 points with only a few minutes to go. I'm a cheerleader at heart so I never give up, but I yelled and carried on all the way home. We walked in just as the overtime started. Glad we got to see that. It was way too exciting.

God bless,
Skeet

The whole game was really close and it was fun to watch all the way through. We led so much of the game it was difficult to see that lead disappear at the end. I would have never believed that last 3 point shot! They'll be replaying that one for WEEKS around here on the television!!!

The minute the game was over our phone rang. It was my father-in-law in Ransom, KS calling to talk about the game. He was so pumped up! Good to see the old dude get excited like that. Might have to go get some KU paraphenlia now...

Yep, it's time to strut your Kansas stuff!!!

MIght be another 20 years before we can do it again! And I can strut now that I have a new knee :)

Thanks Patti. It WAS a fun game. It certainly could have gone the other way VERY easily!

Gat....don't be mean....southern women are ALWAYS nice.

Dang! I was TRYING to be nice. I really think you should try to stay away from using absolutes like always, never...............just sayin.

Whew, she needs to tell that to some of the women in my family. I've seen a couple of them kick off the shoes and dare someone to say something again.

Probably family, Doug. We will fight with our family and for our family, but we are always polite and gentile outside the family. Least that's how I was raised. Kill them with kindness, catch more flies with honey than vinegar, repay evil with kindness, pray for your enemies, etc. etc.

That's what I was sayin', Skeet!! The Southern way and it actually works!

Skeet, I agree with your version of the southern girl.
Unfortunately, One side of my family was----shall we say "rough"..One of the women was a lumber Jack and a tire changer for trucks when she was younger. I've seen her fight family, strangers, and animals.

Doug, you're right, of course. I forgot about the Tonya Harding side of the tracks....

All this talk about southern girls. what about we yanks?
