Jayhawks and Tar Heels Game

The big game is set to start here very soon. I just thought I'd start a new thread for those of us watching the game. Hope it's a really good game with lots of excitement. Will keep my mind off the knee for a while. Since my television and computer are in different rooms, I'll have to post just now and then. But I'll be thinking of all of you watching with me and it will make it that much more special of a game! Like getting together with (new) old friends!

I'm on too---- back and forth between the kitchen and finish dinner pre, the great room where the baseball game (Seattle) is on, and the guest room where my laptop is currently set up with the basketball game on that tv!

Too bad about Stewart from KU. Broke his kneecap on Thursday when he slipped on a wet spot on the floor! Yikes!

I'm in front of the TV for the duration. I'll check in from time to time, but this game is really important and I'll be watching it closely. Go Jayhawks!!

Oh my....this is a shocker so far. I expected a MUCH closer game! I'm proud of our Hawks so far!!!!

I am proud of them, too, but no so naive as to think they have it wrapped up yet. UNC starting hitting their rhythmn and Kansas was getting tired towards the end of the half. It all depends on how they come out for the 2nd half. I'm excited that the game is better than I expected as UNC seems to have had a better season, but seasons don't matter anymore... just this game... win or go home!

Agree 110%, Skeet. There is still a LOT of game left to play and no one should count UNC out of the picture. We're lookin' forward to the second half and hoping like crazy that the Hawks make it to the final game!

Me, too! And my hubby since he's from KS. Okay, time to get settled in for the last half....

Yep, I'm here and sitting down now. Dinner is over and cleaned up. This is an amazing shocker! Who'd a'thunk it?

The Heels could come back but this is not looking good....

Seattle is losing to Baltimore so we are not happy around here.

Where do you live? I'm a Missouri child.... lived in N. KC and Independence till we moved to Oregon when I was 13.... I have 3 sisters who still live in the KC area.

I have relatives in Topeka and Ozawkie.

This game is going downhill! Them Jayhawks need their butts kicked for not breaking fast enough and then going for 3 pointers when they can't even get the 2 pointers. they need to go back to what was working because clearly this strategy isn't working for them. UNC is looking good.

They gotta know that Patti's Heels are too good of a team to play dead for the entire game. It's gonna be a barn-burner at the end, I think!

Way to go, KU!! Patti, your Tarheels played hard and really came back to challenge until the last few minutes. It was a great season. Now... help us root on the Jayhawks on Monday!!
