In light of some of he problems being reported I thought I would post a positive experience for the group to think about.
I went in for LTKR on 16 Mar came out with minor pain, no crutches, out patient PT for two weeks. I progressed so well I had a RTKR on 13 Apr. Again no crutches, in house PT only. Although RTKR was a little more pain and swelling I was released last Thur to go back to my normal life (other than heavy lifting). I will return to work on post op day 21.
Still a little sore and require pain management but other than that it has been little more than an inconvenience. My philosophy at 60, do what you have to do to get healthy to be able to do the things you want to do. Ride the bike and will it well!
I hope the best for all of you going thru it now, it's not all bad.
Good Luck
