Monday morning at 5:00 am, I will begin the process of having a new knee. I'm nervous, and hopeful. I kept myself busy yesterday Saturday, cleaning the house, oil change, picked up the dry cleaning, went food shopping, set up my new flat screen in the downstair guest bedroom, which is where I will be staying until I get back up the stairs. My wife and I went to very nice dinner. I had very little pain in my left knee while doing my chores. Maybe I'm healed and I don't really need this. Today will be much harder, looking for someway for Monday not to come. I will spend a little time at work, make sure I did not miss anything there. I bought a new snow blower, will make sure my wife knows how to use it today, just in case we get snow in the 6 weeks. Not sure when I will be able to use it this season. I don't do well being dependent, so this will be a real test for me. Sorry for rambling on but I feel better when I get the thoughts out. It's 4:50 am on Sunday morning, this a great place to express myself without waking anyone up. This will most likely be my last pre-op post. I have been on Bonesmart for about 8 weeks. Glad I found this site. I have been educated on the process from the experts, the people who have gone before me. Thanks for listening to me over the last 8 weeks. I will post on the other side as soon as possible. I will see you guys on the other side. Bob

Hi Bob, Don't apologize for rambling, because your not. I cannot speak
for everyone, but I think most of us posted a million times just before our surgeries. You feeling a little anxious pre-op, and thats completely normal.
Your doing great, I'm glad you made time to go out for a nice dinner with your wife. I made sure I did the same with my girlfriend, It gave us both a chance to relax and take a break from the stress of preparing ourselves
for the procedure, It was fantastic! It sounds like you have prepared yourself very well, I wish you all the Best. Your recovery will be challenging, but very rewarding at the same time. It's funny how even
little improvements every day, will get you all excited! LOL!! Take care
and get plenty of rest today, remember, post whenever you need to before you go. Post only when you feel up to It when your home.
See you on the other side!!! Sincerely,

Good luck tomorrow Bob! It sounds like you are doing everything you need to do prior to your surgery. Enjoy this last day before your surgery and we'll be here waiting for you when you get back. Take care!

Bob,
I see you are going throught the did I get all my base's covered check list??? Boy I remember that!! I was going to be by myself 99% of the time so I need to have everything so I could take care of myself both times. I will be praying that everthing goes smoothly for you. And I will be rigth here waiting to hear all about your hospital adventure.

Bob...don't feel like you are rambling. You wouldn't believe the number of post I did the weekend of my surgery! I bet I started at least 4 or 5 threads and posted at least a million times:hehe:. I think I was a junior member before I even had my surgery:D. I remember posting like you, saying sorry I keep asking questions and they responded: That's why we are here, to help you through this. So please don't apologize for posting! You will be in my prayers tomorrow along with Kimberly.

It's now 2:00 pm and all is well. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. Kimberly, my thoughts and prayers are with you for tomorrow. I will see you on the other side, good luck tomorrow and may there be no pain. I know you have been down this road before, but if you need a hand to hold or a shoulder to lean on, you can have my good side. Be well and safe, I will post as soon as possible. Bob

Hi Bob, it sounds like you have made all the important preparations and you have a great support member, your loving wife. I know you will be fine and we will all be thinking of you, for a perfect experience.
You have many friends here.
We will be looking for your post when you are on the other side of the OR.
Blessings, Marquesa

Prayers and warm thoughts for both you and Kimberly tomorrow. The waiting really is hard, but you are ALMOST there.... tomorrow at this time the surgery will be over and you will be on your way to total recovery!
Breathe.... breathe .... breathe ..... relax

It's about 10am UK time so I reckon you're at the starting gate in the hospital now. All the best - looking forward to hearing how you've done.

Bob....so sorry I missed you before your surgery. By now you have a new knee and are on your way down the recovery road. Can't wait to hear from you!!!
