    Hi All,

Happy to say I got a date today of Dec. 4th! I am actually excited after everything to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I know there is ALOT of hard work ahead in recovery but finally will be seeing progress. I am not on any pain medications and the daily struggle is getting harder and harder. I am ready to move forward.

best of luck to you. I am still waiting to hear on a date but probably not until late January due to cortisone injection that only worked for a few days.
I am using OTC pain meds but they don't help much.

Not being on pain meds anymore is the best! :roseshwr: That and having pain-free knees! I was taking Aleve, and lots of it, before surgery--and sometimes using a Percocet left over from dental work, which I would hoard just for my knees on special occasions, like for weddings or going to the theater. I am happy to say I have not taken an Aleve in 18 months. I would say the same about the Percocet, but I had abdominal surgery last month so ended up doing those again for a week. :bored: But the knees... no painkillers needed!

You're making the right decision for a life with MUCH better knees!

Thank you so much SusieShoes! I have to say I am so excited to finally not be in pain so much. Just enjoying things like walking my dog again will be such a great reward!
