HI
Today at PT I did all my exercises great 15 reps each great leg raises which took me two weeks to get. My PT told me my knee was at 110 and 0 I am so happy. I went on the bike and went all the way around I did it 4 times and can't wait to do it again. I am 17 days post op, I am just getting so excited by the little things just wish I could do the other things housework, laundry etc. But I know that will come. Everyday is getting better and better and I am feeling better and better just waiting to be happy I did this but that will come too. Just wanted to post and let everyone know I am so excited and if you have never had a tkr then you wouldn't understand why I am so excited so that is why I am so happy for this site so I can tell people my progress.

Excellent, Misscheer! Most excellent. You're a model patient and no mistake!

MissCheer you are doing great! 110 at 17 days is wonderful! You should definitely be proud of yourself. Before you know it, you will be up making dinner and cleaning. I've done a little of that myself at 4 weeks but I still try to share the joy of housework with everyone else. We are an equal opportunity family. My 18 year old daughter and I just got back from a very full day of running errands and a little shopping and it's time for me to ice up. She's cleaning the floors and is about to start dinner. She's a great daughter. I think it's a little easier for her because she got a new purse and a couple of shirts out of the day but hey, she's earned it! She's been a big help to me.

I cleaned my floors today! See what new knees can do. Hey wait... was this the plan? lol
MissCheer! you are doing great and it sounds like you are breaking through the "Oh what have I done" wall. Keep up all the good (and hard) work.

I never thought I would say this but "I MISS RUNNING ERRANDS, SHOPPING AND DOING HOUSEWORK!!!"
Ya'll are doing great. I can't wait until I am able to do more than lay around and take naps.
You are doing great misscheer! It is an inspiration to me reading about your accomplishments. Keep up the good work.
1jt@atime, I know what you mean about your daughter. As soon as I am able I plan on taking my daughter on a shopping trip. She is 31 and the mother of my two precious grandsons and has been here everyday for her mom.
She takes care of me all day, then goes home to cook and do her laundry.
God has blessed me with a loving caring family. I am very lucky indeed.
For those of you who had BTKR all I can say is GOD BLESS YOU!!! You have
my utmost respect!!! I could not imagine having both knees done at the same time. Ya'll are some tough cookies!!
