Missed you lately Jo. Just wondering if you have made an appointment to see a surgeon about your knee yet? Had any more "let downs" lately? Hope you are out enjoying the weather if it is nice where you are.

Hi, Sue...I just got up to go to the bathroom and get some ice and noticed you are online. I've been reading all the late night posts and catching up with everyone. I went to bed about 11:00 our time and, with the help of my heating pad, have been able to stay there and sleep most of the time. Restless legs again tonight, but the heat does help calm the jerks.

Josephine....I've missed hearing from you too. Are you all right? We watched the new movie "Atonement" tonight and all the characters were British during WWII. It got me thinking of you....ESPECIALLY when the two main characters became war nurses! One was a "sister" and the other wore that gorgeous black and red cape. Anyway it reminded me that we missed your posts so much.

Glad the heat pad is helping you sleep. I will try getting some sleep soon, have been surfing the net to pass the time.

Yes, sorry I've been absent - Thursday I was busy, Friday I had a migraine and yesterday I had a flag order to get out!

It all kept me away from you!

But, the other day an internet friend has invited me to go stay with her for a few days! She lives in Atlanta where she and her husband run a horse ranch. So looks like I might be able to fit in some riding again! I won't be going till later in the year as I really want to have this arthroscopy in the summer. Maybe October time.

I also am not a holiday person. I was counting up how many real holidays I have had in my life - 5 of a whole week (4 in UK and one in Spain) plus three weekends in Paris (one on the Orient Express!) and one in Jersey!

So I reckoned that this time I am going to really travel in style. My biggest phobia about travel is being confined to a small space - since I am supersized and also like to put my feet up where ever and when ever possible. I found that BA has this canny Club class seat which is a super-recliner plus a socket for a laptop! Ace! Cost a bit but hey! it's about time I splashed out on myself, wouldn't you say? AND I can keep in touch with you all in the air! Cool, huh?
