There are several ways to register on the BoneSmart forum.
On the BoneSmart.org homepage you will find this tab:
Click on the “Log In” button and a drop down menu will appear asking if you have an account. Click “No” and then the “Sign Up” button.
A second option on the BoneSmart.org homepage is the drop down menu that appears if you click “Patient Forum” in the navigation bar at the page (see image above).
On the BoneSmart.org/forum page you will also find an option to register:
Either option will open a pop up page asking you for what may seem like a lot of personal information. But don't worry! NONE of this will show on the forum except your user name, your age (if you select to show it), location and country. If you read our Terms of Service, you'll see exactly what we might use your information for. We do NOT sell personal data nor release information in any way to tie the data to your name.
At BoneSmart we take data protection very seriously. Please rest assured any data is securely stored.
Please complete all "required" fields. Failure to provide this information may cause your registration to fail.
Note on user name: For your own privacy please do not use your real name or email address as your username.
Next check the CAPTCHA area. This is our way of preventing those horrid spam-bots and trolls from getting in.
Read our terms and our privacy policy and click to agree with these.
Once you've signed up you will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. This means it is essential that you use a valid email address.
When you've clicked on the link in the email that sends our system a confirmation, your account will be up and running and ready for you to use.
Note: You will also have the option of registering on the forum via Facebook. Just click the link at the top of the form requesting your details and follow the instructions.
If you have any difficulties registering, please feel free to contact the forum admins using the "Contact Us" link in the bottom right side of the page (very small print).
