How long will the surgery take with doing both knees? There will be 2 Dr.'s doing the surgery.

There should only be one Dr and asst I would thinkThet really will take good care of you. Your gonna hyperventalate...lol...But we dont mind the questions I pmed everyone, I called everyone and posted like crazy so your pretty normal in my book........

Thank-you! The people that work for me...they do not consider me normal...lol. I sing a lot at work...don't know all the words...I make them up...!

Cindy,If you have a great doctor one who does lots of replacements it should only take him 2 hours, did you ask your doctor that question

Cindy, for you.....the surgery will take 2 seconds. You won't know a thing and won't care a hoot!

Haha thats true Jamie. I woke up wondering when they were going to start. Its was pretty neat....Mine was about 1 1/2 hrs give or take...

:hehe: I think even the best surgeon takes a tad longer than that, tooyoung! Even one knee takes 1½-2hrs!

That's one of my questions when I see my Dr. next Fri. Just thought I would try to find out early.

Hi Cindy!
My BTKR took 2 1/4 hours, but Jamie was right when she told you that you won't be aware of time at all. Even after you wake up in recovery time seems to float rather than pass normally for a while thanks to all those good drugs. Best of luck!
Blessings,
Irene
