Hi Jo,

I finally have time to check into BS. Funny how as my knee gets stronger (though still no less stiff) I think less of looking into the site that helped me so much during my recovery. However I never stop talking about all my friends here and often give out the website to people I know are having the surgery.

Anyway, I was just wondering if your sister has had her operation yet, and if so, how is she doing?

I am so pleased to hear your flexion is so good, but I could see that after just 3 weeks when we were over, the way you practically jumped in and out of the car:hehe: Scar looks great too. Hope you get an MRI soon. I am still having trouble with my other knee. Seeing my OS in July so will ask him his opinion about it then.

Anyway, take care sweet lady. Love and ((((HUGS))))) Sue xooxo

Sue! How lovely to see you!

How are you doing? You going to get that MUA done one of these days?!! I bet that trip to the UK is just a fond memory now, eh? Funny how we seem to spend ages planning these things and then - poof! - all over and done with!

As for Pat, she is booked for surgery on 15th - just 8 more days! Please God this goes okay.

I have decided (though we all know self diagnosis is never a good thing!) that I probably have a joint effusion in my left knee. It comes and goes a bit and the pain seems to be inside the joint, painful to pressure too and tense. And the other night I realised I had a big bulge in the front of my knee that I don't recall seeing there before - well not that big, anyway.

Plus this rotten settee has messed with my back big time and I'm having to use a crutch sometimes as well! :hissy: :hissy: :hissy: :hissy: Wish I'd never bought the *blankety blank* thing!

Other than that, everything is sweet. My garden is beginning to come on a treat so all is not lost. Did you see my new addition in the front garden? It's such a satisfying thing, gardening. Just wish the summer would come and stay! (I have the central heating on again, would you believe!)

Jo--
Beautiful flowers! It's good to hear that your sis is in the short-term waiting room, so to speak. I'll be keeping her in my prayers, along with all the others who are waiting--it's so much easier to deal with the reality than to imagine it!
Blessings, everyone,
Irene

Thank you, Irene. That's very sweet of you. Actually the pansies in the bed and the begonias in the baskets (so small you can't see them yet!) have a long way to go - they're still babies at the moment! When they are really blooming I'll post another photo.

HI Jo, so pleased to hear Pat at least has a date. Please wish her all the best for me. By the way, have put our central heating on again this evening, we could do with a decent summer after the snowy winter we had!! Oh well, at least we have the ability to be warm and cosy indoors eh?

Sorry you are having all the other problems now though. What a pain about you settee, we once bought a really uncomfortable one and had to wait years before we could afford another kind (it was from Queensway I believe)

I will ask my OS about an MUA in July, I get annoyed that I still have the stiffness, but hey, I have beem out in the backyard all afternnon with Kevin, we are roto tilling and replacing the grass, by seeding. We have about 3 yards of soil and weeds to seive and respread now. Have done about a third today, slow laborious process. We are hobbling around tonight!!

Your front yard looks lovely Jo. Doesn't seem too long ago I was walking through that very gate to meet you for the very first time:D Did you ever find your sunglasses by the way? Talk soon. Love and ((((HUGS)))) Sue xoxoxo

No, never found them

I'm in the process of getting another pair which will set me back about £250 as I prefer Zeiss lenses. I have expensive tastes! :hehe:

And you seem to have gone into overdrive in your garden. How about some pictures sometime?

btw - did you notice I fixed your signature? The date was there, you'd just got it muddled up with the url of the picture.
