Ponytails instead of ball cap for me. And no makeup (except for a special few events like my son's wedding). Comfy clothes for work. There are some benefits from working from home!

I am afraid to meet with friends because I'm in the age group that the virus would be more dangerous for. Talking to people is more difficult since I spend most of my time alone.

Soft comfy leggings, t-shirts and sweatshirts have become the only clothes I wear anymore. Finishing up recovery from THR when this hit I never really got back to wearing my regular clothes.

I treasure in person time with family more. I haven’t seen my family, including kids and grandkids, in over a year. We FaceTime weekly and sometimes more often, but it’s not the same. On the plus side, reading to my kindergarten ago grandson every week has gone from me reading to him to him now reading to me. That’s been special for both of us.

The Big Italian Family did get together in person for a short span last summer when the disease was quieter. It’s been six months, now, though (school teacher in the mix), and weekly FaceTime games of Aeon’s End and Last Stand just don’t do enough to fill the absence of shared meals.
