How do I link to another message in a reply?

For example if I want to refer someone to a message in my recovery thread is there a way to link to that thread? Is there a way to link to a specific message? I'd think I'd want to avoid reposting the same information.

@ulrich2000 Try this. Do you see the two little chain symbols at the top the box where you post? One has a green + and the other has a red -. To link to another thread you open another window in your browser with the thread you want to link to. Copy the URL and then go back to your post. Highlight the text you want the link to appear on and then click the chain symbol with the green +. Paste the url in the box that pops up and then hit insert. The linked area should change colour and be underlined. I'll link this area to your recovery thread as an example.

Yes, if you put your cursor in the post that you want to link to, the link tool will capture the post number as well. You will see this post number at the end of the URL.
