Awwww Kim I will post but you no longer have a hot knee.

Oh I see it says torn calf Ok we can talk about that.

You will have that torn calf until you stop over doing.

No I dont ........I know Derek has been meeting me halfway down the stairs lately so I pretend like im walking and he ends up walking all the way up......its ok he laughs.........)
 
Kim I just don't know about you overdoing it with that torn calf as I was bad with mine and it healed!!!! I remember them asking me in pt if I could give them one more weeek (without running) and I said no!!! Of course i did, but i sure was walking everywhere .
you just have a stubborn one.

I agree but I cant do PT when he doesnt want me bending it but I do still do exercises I have to ............But the stairs ouch they really really hurt...........but i stand at the top of the stairs and just pretend Im walking.........Now I getting ready to scream for some ice cream...................lol....But i have to say the knee the TKR is amazing............it really is.I dont have ll that pain on the side of the knee like before...............)
 
Kim everyones torn calf is not the same. Yours is really bad.
It will never heal if you do not baby it. Hate to have to start calling you crip because you want take care of that knee.

As the say if it hurts don't do it.
 
I am Im being good.....I use the crutches whenever i go somewhere but not up the stairs to many close calls........lol.......Its all good and will be fine and if not I lived with worse ...............atleast I have my ice cream................lol I am grateful i wouldnt want to go back to where I was 4mths ago right after surg............yikes...........so its all good..........

Hey Im still here back stinks..............lol................I woke up last night and jumped up out of the bed it hurt so bad this is so weird...............(
 
Kim was that the back of your knee or your back.? I guess you meant the back of your knee. It does stink that it won't get better.

Well Im going for my MRI 11 am this morning see if this calf thing is any different hope to get some answers for the back of the knee..........She said they could do an MRI after a TKR which I didnt know if you could or couldnt I thought no but well cant wait to find out what that muscle thingg is doing because it seems to be just hanging around in pain and not going away....... but we will see.......Again the TKR is doing great no complaints there at all............Just get this fix and Ill be as good as new or well like I was before.......lol.....)
 
Kim good luck . I sure hope this shows something easy to fix. When do you get with the doc for the results?

Hey everyone Just a note if you feel something is not right keep pestering till you get some answers............here we go!!!!!!!!!!!

When my knee was x rayed after the tkr there a piece of metal was was seem by my OS on the x ray he said well its not supposed to be there but it wasn't bothering anything so we will leave it.......Well 2 mths later Im complaining about the back of my knee he did a lil procedure and got some fliud out and said i have a torn calf muscle went thru the cast the Boot everything well getting worse and noone would listen I went to my reg Dr asked him if he could order some ct mris xrays whatever he knows if i say something it not right its usually not so he agreed .....Well all except the mri showed this metal piece sticking out of the back of the knee so the radiologist got the old xrays and its the same size etc and the first piece......So the xrays show this thing about 1/.2 the size of a tooth pick same as before but has moved to the back of my knee ..So now thats why when I bend or at night bend my legs i screamed because it digging in the back of my tendon or stuck there....The radiologist stats the tendon is tore right there i guess because its digging around.......My appt is Monday and I am praying that when I show him all of this he will get this thing out of my leg..........sorry so long but i have waited forever to get this fixed and i hope this will be the end...so i will post on Monday......so its a torn tendon and this metal thinggy sticking out of my knee Im happy because this can finally be resolved.........thanks for all your help !!!!!!!!!!sorry about the spelling etc I kind get mad when i type about it becasue i feel like i knew from the beginning and noone would listen but I have my proof and Im off Monday............
 
Dang Kim,
I thought it was the first OS that did that. I thought it had dissapeared
after MUA and then reappeared now. So sorry I did not know the 2nd
OS did not want to do anything for you either. You just can not catch a
break! You did change OS's right? Or am I wrong about that too???
Dang my brain is just not working.
I will be praying that Monday you get this all taken care of!!!
It should not have taken 1 or even 2 OS's this long to want to
know what this was!!! Thank God for our GP's, they know us
and listen to us!!!!!!!
 
It was the first one that ignored it but the second wouldnt run any tests just did that procedure got some fliud and kept saying it was a torn calf but the my reg Dr listened and ordered the tests for me...........So now i will bring it all in an Monday.......me too thanks !!!!!!!!!!I just assumed the calf would have felt better by now and its getting worse so i figured something wasn't right and thats why.........Its all right there on the scans xrays and reports.....he just kept saying its was a torn calf and he said you cant do an mri ct etc on a tkr yes you can the MRI of the knee didnt come out well at all but the ct and xrays sure show it.......plain as day.......

Doesn't just seem like it is all us???? If we do not keep
pushing we do not get anything done!!!
