Thanks! I staggered my lunch break so that I could go for a nice quiet swim only to find it clashed with the "Swim Safe" lessons for children. I didn't realise this at first and thought it was an "over enthusiastic" dad yelling at his offspring. I was about to ask him to quieten down when I realised that the lesson was over and the next child was lined up for his lesson… ooops! Advantage of this time - no-one else in the pool apart from instructor and child.
Maybe I could bring earplugs.
However, the rules are broken when it comes to the changing rooms. I am in all my glory when two children and their aupair turn up for the next lesson… Not what I was expecting - I thought the changing rooms was ladies only. At over £1000 a year membership fee. hmmm. That said, the grounds of the golf club are beautiful and the gym overlooks those grounds so it is all very civilised..
Still thinking about it…
After 5 hours solid on the computer today I was very stiff but the swimming sorted it out. Lesson learnt…
