home from little trip

Got home around 7:00pm from my little trip to the lake. Was going to stay the night but it was so cold up there. Caught 54 fish...kept 4. I think the same little one kept getting on my hook. Had a blast but was I ever tired. I was in bed by 8:00 and just now woke up. Slept for 8 hours and I only got up just now because I had to go to the bathroom. I think I can probably go back to sleep. I actually had no pain at all the whole time. Swelling was kept under control!!!. Since everything went so smooth I can't wait to plan another adventure!!!! I know all this doesn't have much to do with knee surgery but just wanted to share. Maybe give some inspiration that there IS life after knee surgery.

Hey Cindy Im jealous....lol....I love fishing...lol...But Im soooooooooooooo Happy you got out .I know that must have felt great to get out.........You caught alot wow sounds like you got a great lil fishing spot there....Last time I went fishing. I ended up in the water/mud my hubby had to come get me out ..But it was alot of fun....lol........Glad you did so well you deserve it............Im sure there will be many more......)

We are going back next weekend only this time I'm taking warmer clothes. They are having a huge fish fry up at the lake for all the neighbors. They pool all their fish together that they catch through the summer and fry it all up along with the usual fixings...macaroni salad, potato salad, home made steak fries and of course I'll be making some of my famous deserts. Can't wait!!!! :thmb:

It sounds like you are getting right up and enjoying life again without the constant pain of bone on bone. Recovery pain seems to be more manageable and it is amazing how fast you forget you have replacement knees! Enjoy next weekend as it sounds like it will be a blast!
