Oh dear - I'm afraid I may have hurt myself. This morning I wasn't thinking and I kneeled down by the 1 year old grandson. I put my right knee down first and as I started to put my left knee down, I heard a very loud POP (loud enough that my grandson turned and looked) in my left hip. It was a bit painful so then I was afraid to try to stand up so I crawled over to the stairs and very slowly, worked my way up to stand. My husband had the other 2 boys at the grocery store so I had no choice but to stay upright and chase after the little guy until they got back. I iced it within an hour and the throbbing has stopped. I am experiencing some very sharp pain when I try to move my left leg in a lateral move (I crossed my right leg over my left to reach something and when I tried to move my left leg out to the side, OUCH).
Thoughts? I am feeling pain down into my left thigh (beyond the scar line) but it's probably only a 3 or 4 without movement. Possibly just the muscle? This left leg continues to frustrate me as it lags behind (I'm still unable to lay on my left side). I go see Hipster on Thursday so I'm thinking I can tough it out until then. We have the grands a couple of more hours so I took a Tramadol about an hour after I did it.
