Just under 4 weeks. I am really impressed and pleased.
THR left side, posterior incision at around a week. Curve on the right upper side is shadow, incision length is about 6".
Right image - looks much better now at 5½ weeks ... not nearly as scary
9 days post-op. LTHR anterior. Bandage removed today
7 days post-op. Dressing came off today.
And looking a lot better at 6 weeks!
Tee hee first time I have ever posted pics of my bum on the internet, here we are at 2 days post op , stitches are internal and dissolvable so hopefully won't be too obvious once all healed
Macerated skin and incision 8 days post op. Fresh bandage applied.
4 days out LTHR 26 staples did not measure but guessing 6 or so inches will try to remember to measure next picture
4½ weeks post op
6 wks with small ongoing open incision due to internal sutures
6 months out...have another one to match
October 4th total hip operation....one month later
Really pleased with how neatly this has healed already at just over 8 weeks! Much smaller and less noticeable than I’d expected.
Surgery back in August. Pic is two hours post-op. Scar is now indiscernible.
Taken on 1st September, only just found it in the myriad of photos on my pc
