I am going to my Doc Feb 22, 2006 to discuss hip transplant I own my own business and I am afraid of the recovery time Has anybody got any answers!

I was off of work for 6 weeks per the Dr. request. I could have gone back after 3 or 4 if I had to. I work in a office and do no lifting. You will need help walking, crutches or walker, for a while but after you get use to them it is not as bad as it sounds to have to use them. Good luck.
