At first the surgeon thought my right side groin/hip, and SI joint pain was coming from my hip, then after some physical therapy the thought is that I have adductor tendinitis from my bone on bone right knee, some residual pain/stiffness in my left knee, and a longer leg from a Left TKR done in 2017 which is causing the pain, e.g., not walking properly. I am now scheduled for a Right TKR in 3 weeks which hopefully will reduce the bowleggedness, the groin/hip/adductor pain, and get me walking properly again. Though, I am still having a hard time believing the incredible pain I am having in the groin and outside edge of hip, buttocks and SI issues will be resolved by replacing my knee. There is no doubt I am also feeling the bone on bone pain when walking and most likely I am unconsciously favoring the joint to reduce the pain, but really?, replacing a knee will fix a hip area pain? Anyone have a similar situation? Comments would be appreciated.
