@Katiee Welcome to BoneSmart! I assume you are having your hip replaced? Which hip? I'll make a signature for you.
You will be fully mobile and able to move around in your own before you leave hospital. You will most likely be using a walking aid - walker, crutch or cane - in the early days. PT will make sure you can go up and down stairs before you are discharged.
