I am doing ok, always hate the change of seasons because that really gets the aching to start. I recently have had a lot of popping and cracking or as i call it Snap, Crackle and Pop! recently. I am just about 3 years since my last LTHR Revision Surgery. I have had two revision surgeries and they just went in and replaced the cup and liner, didnt touch the part thats in my femor bone. And i can feel it moving around a bit, it just feels weird. But i am so scared to go to a doctor down here, all my Adult surgeries where done in New Jersey, and the last 2 i finally found an awesome doctor. First he was easy to talk to, didnt have the god complex, he was very awesome bed side manner and just increadible, where he explained everything to me, so I could understand.

I do get quite scared when my hip starts moving and cracking and popping, just reminds me when it dislocated 3 years ago and that was the worst pain i have ever experienced in my life. its weird but the drug they gave me, to sedate me so they could pop it back into place, was the same one that michael jackson died from profornal or something like that.

Profonal is the most common anaesthetic inducer in current use and is perfectly safe. I had it myself just last week!

MJ was having it administered night after night as a sleep inducer which is ABuse! Don't confuse the two! Not only that, not only was he left unattended after it had been administered, he'd been taking other drugs as well!

It's very unlikely that your femoral component is loose. The surgeon would never have opened your hip without checking that both pre-op and during the op. They do, however, pop and click and all sorts.

DDWhen it dislocated and i was in the er after they figured the butt cramp i was experiencing was due to my hip popping out of the socket and staying out then they sedated me and when i went under they popped it back into place they said that the med 2 sedate me would not last very long but long enough 2 completly relax all my musceles so they could pop it back in.
