United KingdomSoooooo sorry I've not been on for a while but as the knee heals , I get more independent.......
I was discharged from physio the week before xmas after constantly getting 120 degrees bend.
Felt a bit of a fraud but the company was excellent..will miss the weekly class.
Still no luck on the job front I will be returning to HMP end Jan after I get the ok from Mr Mohammed and the occ health doc....
Still not expert at going up stairs and mostly have to do it the post op way ( one step 2 feet ) but am trying hard to do it properly.....I can do it except when I am tired ...
Have some contacts at Wrightington who will let me know if any jobs come up , however the girls from Wigan snap them up before they are advertised external, so I have written personally to recruitement to put my case forward..
I have passed this site onto physio and some of my class mates who needed advice........like I said its just the best ever.........my only despair is that I didn't find it pre op.............but hey....you can't have everything in life and at least I DID find you all....
Everyone here have the same hopes and dreams , anxieties and goals , and its great to share with folk who KNOW EXACTLY what you are banging on about...no matter how trivial....
I just want to take this opportunity to THANK EVERYONE ON HERE....especially you Jo.......you are a blessing in disguise.....
we will have to meet up some time and let me buy you a drink........
