Hi everyone! Its been a long time since I visited with you all. Sorry for being such a slacker. I wanted to share that all is well here and I have actually forgotten that I have a metal knee. The pain is gone and Im back to my normal self.
My buddy Scotty is home but without a knee. He has surgical cement and a steel rod supporting his leg. They have to wait for the infection to clear before they put the prosthesis back in.
Josephine, How are you my sweet lady? I miss you all but I have a special place in my heart for Josephine.
Please let me know how you all are doing...
    Love and Respect to all.

PS; Its been about 6 months since my TKR.....the Doctor said it may take six months to one year to feel back to normal. I guess I should have listened to him instead of whining, lol!

    Chuck,

Great to see your name around here again! I am glad to hear you are doing so well. We've been wondering about you and your friend Scotty. We will continue to pray for his recovery... many of us were greatly touched by his struggles. One of those "but for the Grace of God go I" sort of things. Let him know we are all still pulling for him!

Enjoy your summer with your new knee. It is a beautiful sunny day in Oregon and I am heading out the door..

Be sure to check in with us from time to time...

Chuck, thanks for the update on yourself and Scotty. I'm so happy to hear how well you are doing. You are about one month ahead of me, so your recovery is inspiring! I'm glad to hear also that Scotty is coming along well. I pray his infection will be gone soon so he, too, can be on his way to full recovery. So very good to hear from you. We've missed you but are thrilled at your progress.

    God bless,
    Skeet

Well I guess I am not alone then. Tman is thinking of all of you and so am I. Actually to be honest, I am feeling a bit down and just needed to see some familiar names and read some things that lift me up. I really hope Scotty continues to heal quickly and thinking of him really makes me realize that my whining is ridiculous in the big picture.

Hi Tman, great to hear you are doing so well. We have often posted wondering how you and Scotty were doing. Good to hear things are going better for Scotty now. Hope he will get his new knee one day in the future. Please give him my best wishes too.

Kath, sorry to haer you are suffering still, try a body pillow too, I find it great, much better than an ordinary sized one. Good luck. Hugs, Sue.

Hey, T-man, So Good To Hear From You And To Know There Is Life Someday After All This And That We All Can Get There From Here. Still A Week From My Surgery, Had To Postpone It From April 7 To May 13. The Important Thing Is To Keep It All In Perspective And Your Friend Scotty Sure Helps Us To Do That. He Makes Me Ashamed Of Any Whining That I Do. He Has Really Been Through The Fire And I Have Continued To Keep Him In My Prayers. You Would Feel Pretty Good If You Go Back Through Some Of The Posts You Will See You Have Not Been Forgotten. Good Luck, You And Scottie Are An Inspiration To Us All. Rowdy

Hi again everyone..I went for my 6 month check up today. All is well and I asked my Dr. if I was the worst pain in the A$$ he ever operated on. He said yes, and that a pain in the A$$ wasnt the words he used, lol. Im glad to hear from all of you and yes, Josephine..I will always be one of your chicks and you will always be our mother hen. I spoke to Scotty today and sent him all of your love and mentioned that people he dont even know are praying for him! Talk to you all later, God Bless...
