I had my Left hip replaced June 6/07 and the right one September 26/07, uncemented both times.
I went to see my surgeon 2 weeks ago, he told me, after taking XRays, everthing looks fine.
Ok, my question, I am still afraid to do anything, have been married for 23 Years, since both surgeries have not been capable of getting the courage to ask my Doctor or anyone, what can I do? what positions are a no no, my libido because of the stress is like Global warming, melting away.
Please can we talk about it.
Thank you.

There are several older threads here that you can read about this subject. This is one of them. You can search for others using key words and the search function in the tool bar above. Don't be afraid....just go slow and do what feels most comfortable. Your new parts are strong and you'll be fine.

Hi Lily

WElcome. I hope you get all the info you need from all our previous posts. Mydoc brought the subject up pretty early on after my hip replacemet last year. He really does not leave anything out. With my new wonderful hip, one year old, I would do anything.

Thank you my Friends,

The informations were helpful, and sometimes funny.
Yes I have to keep my sense of humor, one of the problem is that my hubby is very overweight and not willing to try anything new.
So I will keep you post it, well not in details....lol.
Thank you so much.
