I know each person is different, but I count myself as one of the luckiest people in the world. The pain has been very minimal and I haven't had anything for pain in 24hrs. My pain level hasn't been above 3 or so since then. The worst problem I had was nausea and I didn't eat one entire plate of food since Sunday. Finally, I began to feel normal today and got to come home. I'm really doing well but my daughter is here for the week. I hope the rest of the recovery goes all well. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers

Fabulous! I am so glad it went well. Great to have you back with us on the "other side". You have a long way to go--- but are off to a great start!

Great news Barbara. I too, did not need the high power pain meds for very long after surgery. I didn't even use the morphine pump in the hospital. Darn, my only chance!!! I found that Ibuprophen did the job for me after 3 weeks or so.
However, if you need the meds at any time, don't hesitate to use them!!
Cheers, Ross

That's good. Hope the rest goes as well for you.
