Hubby's off on a backpacking trip this weekend and in doing my usual day's end cruising around this forum, I suddenly realized this was the first time I'd sat down since early morning. After reading Jo's sticky cautioning newbies not to think problems outdid good results, decided it was worth sharing what my day was like today, 4 months post-op:
Changed the cat's litter box; did 6 loads of laundry; changed sheets & towels; dusted; vacuumed; cleaned the kitchen; cleaned out refrigerator; cleaned baths; mopped floors; scrubbed floor tile grout in master bath; shampooed living room rug; did grocery shopping/unloading/putting away; brushed the dog and gave her a bath; took out trash & recycling . . . and didn't think about my new hip once!
(The only "to-do" on tomorrow's agenda is sleeping late!)
P.S. No, I don't hire out and yes, I do fun stuff , too!
