GOOD DRS in Dallas/Ft Worth

I have just been told I need THR due AVN in right hip. Had core decompression 10 years ago in left hip. My DR now says right hip too far gone for anything but total replacement. Does anyone know a good DR in the Dallas/Fort Worth area? Is the surgery worth the experience?

Yes, I've had my left for 15 years, wish I had not put it off for as long as I did.

Just joined .... was reading all of the posts and came upon yours. Have you had yours done yet? If so whom did you use? I live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and just had a THR on my right hip.

My experience was painful, but now I don't limp any longer, pain doesn't wake me up at night, and am off the 8-16 advil a day habit.
