Well, I'm at 20 weeks and I'm about to head out for my first hunting trip this weekend. We'll be in eastern Oregon, high desert, and hiking for ~3 hours on both Saturday and Sunday. This is constant walking on somewhat unlevel terrain, some small hills as well. The weather should be good (50-60s, partly cloudy). I've been preparing for this trip for some time and I'm excited to see how long I can last! Mostly I want to be sure I don't trip and fall! This is our annual Mothers' Day hunt and this year BOTH my sons are going with my husband and me. My daughter stays home and makes sure I come home to a spotless house!
I'll check in with folks when we get back Sunday night or Monday morning. If you think of me, send up a prayer for strong legs, stamina, balance, and endurance, and, of course, safe travels to and from.
Happy Mothers' Day to all of the Moms on this forum. May your day be blessed with love and honor as you all deserve.
Blessings,
Skeet
