Hi

Does anyone find the waiting around between appointments and surgery pretty upsetting. Endlessly searching and trying to understand your own problems?

I’m looking at a second revision. They’re currently querying infection but there I have few symptoms other than loosening, stiffness and lack of range of motion. I’m waiting on results of a hip aspiration but suspect it’ll reveal nothing. So here I am flip-flopping between I have infection, I don’t have infection. I’ll know a week on Tuesday any results. How does everyone deal with this period?

That's difficult.
Uncertainty and the thought of different scenarios dancing through your head is unsettling.
I am sorry you have to experience this and hope you receive answers soon.
Member, Sockeyewillie, is involved in a waiting game of sorts, just as you are. My heart goes out to both of you as it's not a peaceful situation to be in.

On a different note, I guessed at your past surgery dates, based on a post of yours elsewhere. Hopefully the dates are fairly accurate.
