I’m new here and scheduled for a total right knee replacement in July. I had a partial knee on my right in April of 2006. I’m thankful that it lasted for fourteen years. I know have bad arthritis behind my knee cap so it’s time to have a total replacement done. I’m 65, turning 66 in August, and getting a bit anxious looking towards my surgery.
I had no problems after my partial and didn’t need a lot of pain meds. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with my new knee! I’m having surgery at an out-patient surgery center this time as compared to the hospital stay for two nights with my partial knee surgery. I know that thinking positive goes along in the process and having a helper to lean on helps as well.
Good luck to the July Sparklers and I hope to be in touch with everyone soon!
