I'm about 7 weeks out and yes I have the same problem with sleeping....this morning I was out of bed at 3:00 A.M. I pick up
some Tyleno PM (the spelling not right sorry) today I am going to
try that tonight to see if that will help.... Hope each day goes better
for you..

back at physio today , went on the machine and still only got 70 , she bent my knee backwards and that stung a bit but says i am walking better. have asked for hydro , if you dont ask here you dont get, anyway hasdone a referral. am going to doctors on friday so will hav a review of the meds. pain is not bad during the day but early hours will be crying with frustration, feel like i have entered a different zone or something, reminds me of pregnancy.

Hi Newfie, glad to hear from you. sounds like your doing good for 4 wks. Keep
up a positive attitude, (wich you already have!) and The time will fly by.
Yes I also get pain at night I think we all do! Best Wishes,

It's a well known phenomenon that knees always hurt more at night than during the daylight hours. My physio reckoned it was because we didn't have any distractions but I couldn't agree. I think it's to do with the change in distribution of body fluids when one lays down and sleeps. It affects a lot of our systems and the change in swelling in the knee, either increasing or decreasing, is bound to manifest in changes in pain levels.
