Richard, our members are reporting a sudden change in the type size for all the posts. I can see that too plus I note that the toggle to go from large to small type is not working (the box at the upper right of the REPLY or POST NEW THREAD box with the large "A" and the small "A" in it.

Have you been working on the forum in some way that might have caused this change? Can you please make the larger type the default? Our members prefer that to this smaller size.

Plus...can you make the toggle work? It would be nice to have the ability for each member to set the type size to what they prefer and have it be that way all the time. As it is now, I believe you have to manually change it with each post using the ADVANCED features.

One other thing....there is an icon for spell check just to the left of the type size box. It has never worked. Is that something you can activate?

Thanks!!!

Pretty funny, Judles.....if I didn't know that you are beyond frustrated, it would really make me laugh. You're cute. Here's hoping things can get fixed quickly.

Re: Richard - Problem with Type Size

I'll look into this, the small a/A however was never intended for font size, seems strange it was working as such, and was most likely the cause of the St vitas dance the editor did.

I am working on a selectable font size (affects all font on forum) comes in 4 sizes
normal, 12%+ , 25%+ etc

Re: Richard - Problem with Type Size

Do you mean this icon? It only toggles between WYSIWYG editor and plain editors, except that Jim seemed to have had it also set up to change font size. This is most odd because I use it a lot while I'm posting and never seen it change post size.

But Richard did tell me that the jiggling we saw in the post editor was due to faulty Java code which was actually had the potential to be rather dangerous which was why he corrected it.

I just spoke with him and he's got it on his to do list but is waiting for his access code to the guts of the forum. Till then his hands are tied.

Ah! Rich has posted with me!

Re: Richard - Problem with Type Size

I thought of another think I'd like to see happen. You know the little picture or whatever that we put up on the left corner to identify us..... as it is now, if I change my picture, it changes on all my posts from day 1. I'd like it to stay the way it was, since people make comments about it and when reading back it will be weird when it's something completely different. When I start doing really well with my knee, I won't need my scruffy, crazed looking puppy picture anymore, but it matches the moods of all my earlier posts.

Sorry - it happens in all forums - same with your signature. If you change it, it changes for every single post you ever made.

I was looking at some of my first (06) posts in Christian Forums and they had the same avatar as today. Nowt we can do about that.

Pat - now your font is all tiny - haven't you seen my post about how to change the font size?

And have you seen this thread I put up especially for you and Pat?
Has anyone noticed the new changes?

Re: Richard - Problem with Type Size

Ok, I'd read all about it and set up my permanent font at level 2 under user control options. I have it at three now. It's typing small in this box, so hope it will show larger when I post.

Mine has always done spell check, I think.

Re: Richard - Problem with Type Size

But are you using the Easy Reader Font skin? I am and it's great!
