Congratulations, @Flashlight , it sounds like you’re doing great! I’m amazed by your ability to kneel and squat for your work in the garden. Isn’t it satisfying to get back out there and get things in order again?
Glad your 1 year appointment went well and everything looked good. I have to disagree with your surgeon about the numbness though. After my first hip surgery, it took more than 2 years to get sensation again on a large spot on my thigh, but the feeling did eventually come back completely. My numb spot from my knee surgery has shrunk already.
Anyway, as you’re pedaling away on your bike, or walking down a path, I’ll be right there with you! We gotta keep these knees healthy! And that’s a good point about remembering to make an appointment in FIVE years. I could see ten years going by and thinking, wasn’t there something I was supposed to do?

Agree with @JusticeRider .My numb patch has definitely shrunk and some sensation has returned. It still feels "different" but I definitely have some sensation now.
